Short-term intensive training in Procurement of Goods and Services provided to 16 staff of the Management Science of Health, Bangladesh.
Specific objectives
▪ Develop a global understanding of the Procurement guidelines of the World Bank and of other agencies.▪ Understand the guidelines, norms, processes and principles associated with procurement of goods and consultants.▪ Define and plan every step of the process and activities of a tender and a request for proposal.▪ Prepare the procurement documents and be able to evaluate the bidding documents and negotiate contracts.▪ Participate in a “step-by-step” simulation of a complex procurement process.
