A seminar/workshop on Lean Management and public services: perfecting operational performance was provided by SETYM International in Kinshasa within the grounds of the Royal Hotel (Democratic Republic of Congo) from April 11 to 22, 2022. Twenty-eight (28) executives working in Primary Health Care in Rural Areas (SANRU) benefited from this training.


Specific objectives: Identify key issues related to the resettlement of project-affected people. Develop TORs to properly frame the project's resettlement needs. Evaluate the quality of resettlement documents prepared by consultants. Master best practices for monitoring resettlement implementation.

Presentation of the house of Lean and the main tools.▪ “Lean Approach” Simulation: Defining Value. Identify the value chain. Obtain a continuous flow. Aim for perfection: continuous improvement.▪ Methods & Levers of a Lean implementation: Lean thinking & Lean principles. Identify, understand and support resistance to change. Advanced problem solving methods. Exchanges, analysis and implementation based on concrete cases brought by the participants.
